Hey, I’m Andrea.
but you can call me Andie
Maybe you've spent a lot of time trying to understand yourself, but still feel stuck. You know why you feel the way you do, so why doesn't knowing seem to change anything?
I'm a LMSW specializing in trauma, PTSD, OCD, and grief, with a particular focus on EMDR therapy for trauma.
My approach is collaborative, curious, and grounded in the belief that understanding yourself is important, but you also deserve to feel different.
We'll make room for the hard stuff, challenge the patterns that aren't serving you, and probably laugh a little along the way.
About My Approach
I believe good therapy is about more than learning how to cope, it’s about making sense of what you've experienced and creating space for something new.
My work is relational, trauma informed, and culturally sensitive.
I work primarily with LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities and believe your identity, relationships, and lived experiences deserve to be understood within the larger context of your life.
We'll work together to understand what's happening, explore what matters to you, and find an approach that feels right for you.
-
Working through difficult experiences, understanding their impact, and finding ways to feel more grounded in the present. Treatment may include EMDR or Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
-
Supporting you in changing your relationship with intrusive thoughts, compulsions, reassurance seeking, and uncertainty through Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
-
Making space for complicated feelings, significant losses, and the ways grief can change your relationship with yourself and the world.
-
Exploring the patterns, experiences, and relationships that may be contributing to feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next.

My work combines a relational, trauma informed approach with specialized treatments when appropriate. I offer EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma and PTSD, as well as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD.

We'll start by getting to know you. I'll ask about your current concerns, your history, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. You don't need to share everything at once. We'll work at a pace that makes sense for you and develop a plan together.
